I play songs on solo jazz finger style guitar and also sing. I guess some would call me a jazz guitarist/singer. When I work for senior sing a long I like to try to pick a variety of songs from the great American songbook. Mixing sweet love songs with light swing tunes, then on to bossa style, light 50s rock. I do many songs from the 20s to the 70s. Lately I have been finding that the 40, 50, and 60s are working the best. I have done many shows both in and out of the Grand rapids area though the years. I have worked backing shows for grand rapids civic theater, and circle in the park theater also as a sideman at shows in Devos hall. Also I have had and still do have the pleasure of playing guitar and singing through the years in many night clubs/dinner spots both playing with jazz groups and solo.
